Week 9: redwood forest, again.

This is the same place as last week, just another medium. I love drawing like this with pen, I can be sloppy and quick and it still looks okay, as long as you stand far away from it ;)

Week 9: My first paid portraits!!

My first paid portraits!! I have started selling art from a really fun website called etsy. (there are links at the top of my blog, my shop is called "paint ashley" ;)I am offering custom portraits for a good price, and had my first jobs this week! They send me the photos, and I draw them :) Some people bought a few other things as well and right now it isn't much, but it is realizing a goal I have had since I was a kid. I wanted to get good enough at drawing faces that I could sell custom portraits. So this was an exciting week :)

Again sorry this post is late! My family drove to one of the redwood forests this weekend, and it was so beautiful. I love photography too, and it was fun to have such a beautiful place to capture :)

week 8: little brother

I am sorry this is posted late! and it really was done last week, and I promise to post something other than pencil drawings this week. We were looking though a box of old photos, and this is how I remember my little brother! I came home from mongolia to this grown boy who is a foot taller than me.
